About the Text to PDF
Turn plain text or Markdown into a clean PDF. Paste notes, a letter or a README, or open a .txt or .md file, and download a document with proper margins, wrapped lines and page breaks.
Markdown headings, bullet and numbered lists, quotes and code blocks are formatted for you. The PDF is made on your device.
How it works
Lines are wrapped at the last space that fits within the margins, so words are never split unless a single word is longer than a whole line. Blank lines are kept, and a new page starts when the current one is full.
With Markdown formatting on, lines starting with # become headings, - or 1. become list items with a hanging indent, > becomes an indented quote and text between ``` lines is set in a fixed-width font. Inline markers such as **bold** are removed and the words kept.
Text in any script is drawn with an embedded Noto font, and lines in Urdu or Arabic are aligned to the right.
Assumptions and limits
- Paper: A4, A3, A5, US Letter or US Legal, with 0.75-inch margins.
- Text up to 2 million characters; files up to 5 MB.
- Images and tables in Markdown aren't drawn; their text is kept.

Frequently asked questions
How do I convert a .txt file to PDF?
Click Open a .txt or .md file, choose the file and press Create PDF. The text is laid out with margins and page breaks, and long lines are wrapped so nothing runs off the page.
Which Markdown features are supported?
Headings with #, bullet lists with - or *, numbered lists, quotes with >, horizontal rules and fenced code blocks. Bold, italic, inline code and link markers are removed, keeping their words.
Can I write in Urdu or Arabic?
Yes. Urdu, Arabic and other scripts are drawn with embedded Noto fonts, joined correctly, and right-to-left lines are aligned to the right margin so the document reads naturally.
Will long lines be cut off?
No. Every line is wrapped at the last space that fits within the margins. Only a single word longer than a full line, such as a long web address, is broken across lines.
Is the text in the PDF selectable?
Yes. The PDF contains real text, not a picture of it, so it can be searched, selected and copied, and it stays sharp at any zoom level or print size.
