About the Resize PDF Pages
Change a PDF's page size, for example from US Letter to A4 or from A4 to A5, without stretching anything. Each page is scaled to fit the new size, kept in proportion and centred, with an optional margin around it.
Use it to print a document on the paper you have, meet a submission rule or make every page the same size. The PDF is processed on your device.
How it works
Each page is placed on a new page of the chosen size and scaled by the largest amount that still fits, so nothing is cut off and nothing is distorted. If the shapes differ, the leftover space is shared equally on both sides.
Pages keep their own orientation by default: a landscape page goes onto a landscape sheet. You can force portrait or landscape instead, add a margin, or stop small pages from being enlarged.
Pages are redrawn rather than edited in place, which keeps text sharp and selectable. Links and form fields on the pages aren't carried over to the resized copy.
Assumptions and limits
- Sizes: A4 210 × 297 mm, A5 148 × 210 mm, A3 297 × 420 mm, US Letter 8.5 × 11 in, US Legal 8.5 × 14 in.
- Custom sizes from 25.4 mm (1 inch) up to 5080 mm.
- Password-protected PDFs need the password removed first.
Worked examples
A US document printed in Pakistan or Europe
A Letter-size PDF on A4 is scaled by 97.3% and centred, so the full page prints with a little extra space at the top and bottom.
A4 to A5 booklet pages
Choosing A5 shrinks each A4 page to about 70.5%. The A sizes are almost the same shape, so only a sliver of space is left at the top and bottom.
Mixed page sizes
A scanned file with pages of slightly different sizes becomes uniform A4, each page centred.

Yes. Pages are redrawn as vector content, not turned into pictures, so text stays sharp, searchable and selectable. Only links and form fields are not carried over to the new file.
What happens to rotated pages?
They're placed the way you see them. A page that's displayed in landscape goes onto a landscape sheet of the new size unless you choose a fixed orientation.
